Ich heisse Julia, bin 23 Jahre alt und komme ursprünglich aus dem Kanton Basel-Land. Ich studiere Business Communications an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich (HWZ). Im Oktober 2018 bin ich aufgrund meines Studiums und Job jedoch nach Zürich gezogen. Doch ganz solange bin ich schlussendlich gar nicht da geblieben, da ich bereits Ende Juli 2019 hierher nach Australien kam.

Über diesen Weg möchte ich auch andere zu einem Auslandsemester an der University of Technology Sydney (UTS) anregen, gegebenenfalls bei der Organisation helfen oder einfach nur aufzeigen, was ein schönes Land Australien doch ist. Meine Reisen nach der Beendigung des Semesters werde ich zudem laufend dokumentieren – mit einer chronologisch aufgeführten Abfolge unserer verschiedenen Stops, den Orten unserer Übernachtung und etlichen Impressionen.

My name is Julia, I am 23 years old and originally come from the canton of Basel-Land. I am studying Business Communications at the University of Applied Sciences Zurich (HWZ). However, in October 2018 I moved to Zurich because of my studies and job. But I didn’t stay there very long, as I came here to Australia at the end of July 2019.

In this way I would like to encourage others to spend a semester abroad at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), help with the organization if necessary or just show what a beautiful country Australia is. I will also keep adding my travels after the end of the semester – with a chronological sequence of our various stops, the places where we stayed overnight and a number of impressions.
